Every woman's Pride

2012
Hey guys sorry about the late post, was caught up with chores and finding 'solution' for my hair. Yes my hair!!! Very stubborn thing that wants me to look like a mad woman but God is on top my matter and hair #Godwin....hehe

If not for the plenty orishirishi I have put on this hair this morning and last night, I would have still be frowning at it now as I look into the mirror. I can remember one time my hairs use to be long like those of a mermaid *i saw one in a Nollywood movie with rubber tail*, then all of a sudden things went sour for my hair ooh, I receive some annoying questions like "when/why did you cut your hair?", from people these days. My dear friend I didn't cut my hair and I have never gone to the barber's shop to cut it since I started making it since 2006.

Ok, lemme say I caused half of my hair condition today, like when I trimmed the front one time to make full french abi Nicki Minaj's style and since then my front hair have refused to grow more than that length instead it's receding by the day. Then the first weaving I ever did that was in my SSS 3, was the pioneer of my hair problem. The hairdresser made it so tight that I was having puss like liquid coming out of the part I did the hair parting(side) and in my joy and pride that I was now one of the big girls making hair, I never cared to loosen the weaving even at the advice of family and friends. Now, you can see the visible difference on my hair.

I also visited a salon about a year ago, different from the one I normally use whenever I want to retouch *erm perm* my hair and the hairdresser there murdered my hair, she just applied the relaxer cream I bought from her and started combing my hair. 2 minutes and her table was filled with my hair that was pulling out as she combed. I immediately shouted at her to stop and go and wash my hair so that I could leave before I go home bald.

Then come see me over sabi ooh, another day my school mate came over and told my sister who is a hair stylist (na she dey arrange all my hair weaves and she is a pro *shines teeth*) to help her dye her weaves bright red, it was so beautiful when she finished applying, that's how I opened my wide mouth and said I wanted my natural hair to be dyed that colour too, with my sis and school mate encouraging me, I foolishly dyed it.

2013

Had I known it is a different thing to dye a natural hair and synthetic I wouldn't have tried it.
Since that day my hair has never remained the same, always looking dull except for when I retouch it newly. The worst part is that I can hardly carry braids 'cos of my constant headaches and they say it could have helped if I continously make braids or Ghana abi Senegalese weaving *roll eyes*. I can only rock weaves for now 'cos am saving my once in a year braids for my birthday or Christmas *shines teeth*. So what else can I do? And don't even tell me any 'winchi winchi' talk that I should go and cut it ohh, even if I agree my mum and sisters won't. They say I am their Agbani abi supermodel *flips lashes*....lol

What can I do, and mind you my hair is the last thing on my worry list but really want to make it look better because of family especially mum who feels I look hungry each time she sees my hair all in a disarray on top my head, lol. Ok for now I retouched, stretched and did this to my hair.... I hope it helps.

Ladies in the house please kindly tell me the product of relaxer cream you use, a good one that doesn't revert the hair texture quickly and is 'hot - free'. You know what I mean, don't want to start calling the hairdresser 'mummy' when the hotness starts...lol.
#Nigeria decides#, please no violent protests after final results, we are One no matter what. Stay safe!
